  1. So don’t eat saturated fat (fat from animals).. the stuff we’ve been living on for hundreds of thousands of years… we should instead eat polyunsaturated fats.. something until recently we used as lamp oil.

  2. Beef fat and butter is so good for u, i eat half a pound a day to stay lean and feel happy, veg oils are poison and make u fat

  3. This should be taken down for misinformation, in no case is canola oil “good” for you as the Dr said. Oh, and he is wrong about saturated fat too. If you’re watching this, look for a more recent video as some of this information has been proven to be inaccurate.

  4. The nations of the world can’t afford the medical bills from these foods, but tax dollars still subsidize them!

  5. MSG is not bad Oz. It was based in assumptive and discriminatory papers that proved nothing. We have more information about wine causing headaches than we do MSG causing headaches. MSG is found in naturally occurring foods like tomatoes. It’s a great flavor enhancer and additive. It’s like salt way too much is bad for you but use a sensible amount and you’ll be normal.

  6. He’s not differentiating between hydrogenated and partially hydrogenated oils…..the latter is worse in terms of trans fats. Also, natural saturated fats are not evil! This includes coconut oil which is not evil! Not all runny oils are healthy if you end up with too many omega 6s in your body that are in a lot of liquid polyunsaturated oils. Go with avocado oil, high in monounsaturated oil and a very high smoke point for frying! Find a balance between raw or unrefined saturated, raw or unrefined polyunsaturated oils and the monounsaturated oils like avocado to balance your omega 3-6-9 ratio. Optimally humans should have at worst a 3-1 omega 6 to omega 3 ratio. High levels of omega 6 lead to inflammation no matter how healthy the oil. This is a constant theme in the North American diet with a ration of 10-1 omega 6 to 3 and that is being conservative. Stay away from any refined oils including canola! Sugar is evil regardless. Eat salmon!

  7. Stop eating Carregeean being put in
    Everything under the sun. ESP ice cream! Don’t! It will ruin your gut .

  9. The doctor didn’t even mention coconut oil which is just as good as olive oil.

  10. All seeds oils are toxic and already oxidized when filled in a bottle. Do yourself a favor and use stable saturated fats like coconut oil or animal fats.

    Fluoride, our fruits and vegetables have a chuck full of pesticides eat healthy get cancer eat unhealthy get heart disease high blood pressure diabetes… you would have to own your own land to grow truly green oh and don’t forget the stuff there shooting in to live stock … the food and drug administration and the CDC is a joke …. And our government does absolutely nothing to stop this it’s a shame these Dr are prescribing meds that would kill you faster …. my mom took her medicine faithfully and died at 44yrs old…. personally I don’t take anything the Dr’s prescribed and I’m 54 yrs old …

  19. Dr Oz has changed his thoughts on animal fats over the years. Animal fat is considered natural and healthy in 2022.

    “It turned out that diets low in fat, leave people feeling hungry, depressed and prone to illness and weight gain. We replaced the reduced animal fat in our diet with sugars and other refined carbohydrates, which essentially got us fat. We replaced animal fats with man-made hydrogenated fats which are full of trans fat, which are difficult for our body to break down and process, so instead we store them as fat. They increase LDL and lower HDL which adversely affects cholesterol, and they promote diabetes and obesity by interfering with insulin production.”

  20. Oprah in this episode is spreading misinformation by rubbing that crap on her hands and saying that she should use it for lotion at the bottom of her feet. I’m sure she’s smart enough to know that our body has pores. When we take a shower our body literally drinks a gallon of the water the toxic City pipe water think Flint Michigan. The rule is you do not put anything on your body that you cannot eat.

  21. Wow, just 7 years ago we were telling America saturated fat is bad, and Canola oil is healthy. Not 70 years ago… 7 years ago. It’s all a bunch of money grab BS.

  22. Animal fat is saturated fat because it’s solid at room temperature, but room temperature is around 72F. Human body temperature is roughly 98.6F. Then shouldn’t saturated fat liquefy in our bodies?
