In this video, Dr. Berg talks about the 7 benefits of nutritional yeast. It is not recommended to consume nutritional yeast that is enriched or fortified.
1. B-Vitamins – There is a lot of benefits by taking the B vitamins especially on their natural form.
B1 – Stress and Energy
B2 and B3 – Good for the skin, digestion, hair, nails
B6 – Essential for mitochondria to make energy.
2. Minerals – Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium
3. Trace Minerals – Chromium, Selenium, Zinc. One of its purpose is to help as a cofactor in enzymes.
It is also good for hair, nails, skin, muscle and anything with protein
4. Amino Acids

  5. Then why do your tablets contain synthetic B12 + additives? Vanilla "flavor" (to which I am very allergic: yes, vanilla NOT vanillin) You put VANILLA & tell us to CHEW the tablets. Everyone knows that chewing on vanilla-scented anything is gonna trigger massive CRAVINGS FOR CARBS! Dr. Berg, explain yourself !

  10. Word of warning ⚠️ it can lower blood sugar levels, so eat it with something substantial. Went out this morning after eating just blackberries and one serving of nutritional yeast. Felt very irritable! I think it’s the chromium in it.

  11. Order products from Amazon,instead of his web site. If you have prime you have no shipping cost and the product is the same price. I Learned that the hard way and when I tried to cancel the order the next day but was told it had already shipped. Even though the shipping label had been made 2 hours after I talked to them. At least with Amazon I can get better results.

You know it would be nice if you had something on the brain I have a girlfriend that has enter cranial pressure it is so bad they’ve given her for spinal still can’t give her anymore they can’t do any scan now on her brain she did have one before she is overweight ice would say between 50 and 75 lb I know that would help but I wish you could somehow have some kind of video about this it is actually called hypertension intracranial pressure

  15. Question about nutritional yeast…. Dave Asprey (Bulletproof) suggests that nutritional yeast is not good, because most contain mold toxins. Any thoughts about this??

  16. Just started taking this after being forced to go off dairy (Alpha Gal allergy) to make vegan cheese & I love it!
    Of course I overdid it a bit by overeating & got a bit bloated along with a minor Niacin flush. ^^;
    But there was SOMETHING in there that my body was craving badly! It was probably the extra B vitamins & Niacin.

  17. Anyone else get pain in their legs after taking Dr Bergs nutritional yeast? It’s really weird…I get a horrible burning in my legs!🔥Is it trying to push something through my legs or is it an allergy!

  18. Please note that nutritional yeast is not recommended for everyone, despite its certain health benefits. Those with mold allergies beware especially, but also potentially others. In my partner it triggers severe RLS and PLMD, just as one example, and also a histamine type response. Just wanted to mention this as it took us a very long time to determine that this was one of the causes of his issues and doctors were of very little help.

  20. I brought some nutritional yeast for the first time today to help aid me going back on my keto plan following the festivities and over indulging on all the wrong food. I heard on another video it’s good to take in the evening to help with sleep and anxiety. It has a good savoury taste to it. I could make it into a hot drink to help break my fast or sprinkle on my veg. I tried it for the first time in cold water and although it didn’t taste disgusting, I think it would be best used like it’s a warm broth type drink. Even thought of adding a little marmite to boost the vitamins but not sure how that would taste

  21. Avoid nutritional yeast at all cost, it causes more damage than good. I tried it and i suffered a lot.
