These drills are designed to work on your acceleration, deceleration and change of direction with and without the ball. The game of football is multi-directional and constantly changing speeds.   9. Hi guys! In today’s session we’re working both on and off the ball to improve our acceleration, deceleration, change of direction and overall football fitness.
    The cones I used are 8 wide steps apart between each corner, with one cone in the middle (use shoes, socks, water bottles if you don’t have cones).
    Complete each exercise 4 times, 2 in each direction, resting for 30 seconds to a minute between each one.
    Below are time stamps for each drill:
    One: 00:22
    Two: 01:25
    Three: 02:43
    Four: 03:40
    Five: 04:49

  13. Michael, whenever I get the ball my instinct is to pass it, with as little touches as possible. This happens even when I have open space and I should dribble or when ther is no pass lane and I should feint or move around. These ideas never come to me at the moment. How can I improve this on my own?

    I’m 20 years old actually I didn’t played football before 20 years even I was not interested I just played volleyball for 3 years…But now I’m playing football…and I got it as a classical game and I play as a Left wing forward…
    I’m just a beginner I admit you as my coach as my teacher…
    If I talk about my country then, in Pakistan football isn’t a valuable game but I’m 100 percent interested and addicted to this game…I’m making my "Stamina" better also learning "Juggling,Passing,Kicking and dribbling" by watching your awesome videos Sir…
    And I’m doing this all just for my Hearts satisfaction…
