  4. Diet Pepsi dont make you fat i drink 3 x 2 litters of diet Pepsi daily start 16yo now im 35yo make 19 years i think im classified for talk more then a lot of peoples and im not big.
    Dont do like me my stomach acid burn as hell now reflux all day baking soda thank you haha….

    Ps : Cafein effect = Lost weight its not the soda drink cafe you get same result of lost weight

  7. "Diet" is just a marketing deception/lie that clearly has worked on fooling majority people. It’s "sugar free" drink not "diet", no correlation. I’m surprised but not surprised government agencies haven’t put the hammer on these big companies. Put simply they have too much money and power.

  9. But you don’t measure the insulin? You should. Your conclusion is really not correct. There are a lot of other parameters to take into consideration, like if you eat together with the diet coke or not.

  10. No. Too much sugar makes you fat. If your liver can’t process the amount of sugar you’re giving it, it turns THAT into fat.

  11. I saw other videos that said that diet pops caused weight gain. What a load of rubbish. If you stick to the exact same diet, but switch from sugary pops to diet pops, you will lose weight. If, however, you are a hopeless case and thus increase your food intake as a consequence of reducing your liquid sugar intake, there is a good chance you will gain weight since it takes longer in general for your blood sugar to increase via food intake rather than via sugar pop intake. But the other silly videos did not bother to mention this, and thus they gave the impression that the diet drink alone was to be held responsible.

  13. The man’s blood sugar went down shortly after, or maybe he eat something before the tests? We only have his word for it. But unless you put atoms into the body it’s impossible to gain weight due to an increase in body fat. A can of cola light floats in water, but a can of regular cola sinks…go figure!

  14. I have long ago quit drinking soda pop because it makes me hungry. My cousin, who started to drink diet soda to lose weight has in fact, gained a lot of weight, She now has a huge stomach.

  17. The only good thing about diet sodas is when consumed with alcohol they make you get drunk faster. Other than that, just enjoy the real thing instead of a half OK subsitute

    All it says is NO you will not gain weight but drinking soda COULD “influence” you to eat other junk food…that’s like saying smoking pot COULD influence you to eat Funyuns, thus Marijuana causes Funyuns = FAKE SCIENCE

  23. Sugar does not make you fat! In fact only high fructous corn syrup is readily turn to fat. The bottom line is…what most people call "sweets" and "carbs" aren’t things like fruit, rice, and potatoes but are things like cakes, cookies, and breads made with eggs, milk, and butter which generally have about 50% of their calories coming from fat. Simply put…fat you eat is the fat you wear. A high carb (80%), low fat (10%), low protein diet is what’s needed to be lean. Eat like a Kenyan and you’ll be lean like a Kenyan.

  24. I lost 80 plus pounds drinking diet Sunkist, Dr pepper, tea, and flavored waters. Just now started drinking water to fast better in my fasting window

  25. Diet soda doesn’t make you fat. People thinking since they had a diet soda that they can eat a few extra slices of pizza or pieces of fried chicken is what makes them fat.

    If you keep your eating habits exactly the same except you replace regular soda with diet soda, you will lose weight

  29. Sweeteners are calorie free!!!! They cannot cause weight gain(body fat) but due to the water weight they will be slightly heavier, immediately, maybe that causes a surge in blood glucose?? Neurological reaction to sudden increase in weight? It isn’t an increase in weight from full or new fat cells though….Silly amateurish test!!!!!
