  2. The fact that you’ve provided links in addition to this video is so helpful. With the abundance of content online, the clarity on such topics is scarce. I think making a series of videos explaining the types of food to include might be really helpful since so many people are misguided!

  7. Am I missing something?

    I stopped eating white bread, sugars and processed food.

    Lunch and dinner: I only eat carbs in one of these meals (quinoa is my favourite), I measure the size of the protein with the palm of my hand (I love seitan, jack fruit, vegan burgers, tofu..) and eat salad on both meals (I like watercress with onion, tomato and olive oil dressing).

    At breakfast I eat Weetabix Protein with coconut unsweetened milk, banana and Shia seeds.

    In the middle of the morning I usually eat a tangerine.

    If I feel hungry late at night have rice crackers with avocado. I have a treat at the weekend. I do exercise (HIIT or full body free weights training) 3 times a week. I drink plenty of water (small sips during the day).

    Sometimes, between meals, I eat olives or unsalted dry fruits (pistachios, almonds) but not very often.

    ok, I believe tou meant "Chlorine" and "Fluorine" instead of "Chloride" and "Fluoride".
    The first ones ares pure elements, the other ones are used to name ionic compounds, ex:(sodium chloride, magnesium fluoride)

  12. Burning question(s)??? Some people argue that because of the way food is mass produced, genetically modified, and made to produce quicker that even if you’re eating the best diet possible you’ll still have deficiencies. What affects do gmos and soil depletion have on the food we eat today? If our soils are less rich, are they producing something that doesn’t have as many vitamins and minerals, and therefore isn’t as beneficial? Is this why even when people eat right deficiencies can occur? And if that’s the case, and someone decides to supplement, how do we know what are body is able to absorb? Most vitamins and supplements are some form of a compound which makes it harder for our body to break down and use. There are many mixed opinions on this topic.

  15. My mom is in her 70s and really tired. I’m curious if people start having difficulty with vitamin, mineral, trace element absorption when they age. Also, how do I know these supplements do what they say? They are not tested or regulated by the FDA…. that is what I have been told.
