Heart Breathings – Episode 245

About Me: My name is Sarra Cannon, and I’ve been indie publishing since 2010. In that time, I have published 26 books and sold well over half a million copies.

I’ve made some mistakes along the way, but I’ve also learned some valuable lessons that I think will help you reach your goals. I can’t wait to help you learn to make money writing what you love.

  1. I have running and weight lifting goals to get stronger in my heart and body! But I’m trying to keep all this tracking digitally with an Apple Watch that should be here on Friday.

  2. So glad to be a new follower, though I will be a long time follower. Love all your ideas! Finally making time for myself and things that I love which is really my creative side. I plan on getting on track this year as well with fitness and enjoying life. I’m starting a gardening planner but can tell I’m going to want many more. I ordered a binder from Kikki.K to get started because it just looks so nice….worth the wait. I would love to see a video on your office setup if you have one?

  3. Love your setup and I am definitely going to dedicate a bullet journal to my healthy journey. First time I am hearing about 🌞 the diet…going into research mode. I have serious food allergies and don’t have many food options.

  4. Lovely set up. Give me some ideas about how to set a wellness journal. Great idea use a journal that is no longer useful for other projects to help resetting the new one

  5. Girl YES! You do look fabulous! I’m glad you said that 💖💖💖 of course, feeling healthy is what matters the most, aaannnddd you glow and look amazing and wear your body very well 💖💖💖 it’s good to hear that “image” stuff and body dystrophin isn’t your main motivation, because at that very basic level, you look GREAT 💋🧚‍♀️💥

  6. Well done for the weight loss so far and good luck for future weight loss. Love the bullet journal spreads love the fact that you reused what you already had done. My goal for this year is to lose a stone and keep it off. As last year I lost four stone in three months then put it all back on again. So long tears 5years 5 stone lost but a year at a time. Have you got a link for the dot marker by any chance? Good luck stay safe xx

  7. I have been tracking my water intake for a year, and will continue to do so. The memory of passing painfully a stone is a good motivator, ha, ha! {I even had to go to the hospital for it, one year ago}

  8. I love your video that how you tracking your health. I will use in my tracking health. Thank you Happy New Year 🎊🎈🎆 blessings

  9. My husband and I just started Keto this month. I also started a health & fitness journal as well as a fitness planner. My journal is a bit basic right now but I am excited to use some new ideas now! Thank you for sharing with us!!

  10. A slightly different style of planning for me, but I hope you enjoy seeing this health bujo setup for 2021 (or at least repurposed to 2021). Are you tracking any meal planning or fitness goals this year??

  11. I LOST 40lbs!!! You ask how? I visited website called "Agoge Diet". I selected only food I like and they provided me with DIET MEAL PLAN, TRAINING PLAN, FITNESS TIPS and HEALTHY RECIPES.

  12. Love this video, Sarra – I’m rezooming this January after falling off the wagon during NaNoWriMo, and now I’m seriously thinking about setting up a health & fitness bujo instead of fiddling with a bunch of apps on my phone!

  13. I love watching your journal setups, it’s so satisfying to the soul 💜 2020 was a tough year mentally and unfortunately it affected my exercise routine, but hoping this year I get back to my daily yoga. Good luck with your health plans! 😊

  14. I got my diet plan from *Agoge Diet* and lost 2kg in just 10 days. So far, so good. Can’t wait to see numbers on scale after 20 more days. I am so excited about this.

  15. I know it might not fit you idea for the channel, but I would love to hear more about your Bright Line eating journey. Like cooking videos and such. I can’t imagine what a life without sugar and flour would look like, so I would love to see how you do it.

  16. I’ll have to mention bright line eating to my sister she has PCOS and is overweight she hasn’t found a routine in diet to lose weight and feel fit like she wants to so thanks for sharing

  17. Thanks for this. I’m also a PCOS sufferer, diagnosed at the age of 18 and having symptoms all my life. However it’s really in the past two years, now that I’m approaching menopause, that my hormones have gone completely haywire! I listened to the Bright Line Eating audiobook after you mentioned it on your channel back in October so I’m trying it, starting Monday. (I never start anything on Jan 1st because it puts too much pressure on the new year, LOL!) I’m hoping that it will help with my crazy messed up hormones but it would also be nice to (eventually) lose 100lbs. So thanks for sharing about it and for sharing your tracking.

  18. I think this kind of journal would be perfect on my month breaks 🙂 I’d keep the meal planner on my usual journal 🙂

  19. I wish you much success in your weight loss! OMG! Now I remember what I bought extra planners for! I blanked out during my planner video. Lol! My daughter and I are going to start Keto. Girl, I’ve been up and down with my weight.🤦🏽‍♀️

  20. I don’t eat Bright Lines but I visit Susan’s channel and listen to the messages and community sometimes! All the best for all of us with our health goals! 👍🏿🌸

  21. This is awesome, Sarra! I’m also focusing on health this quarter (and year). I need to lose about 60 pounds, but this time, I’m going to try Paleo. I’m starting on February 1st (I need time to ready myself for such things LOL), and a lot of the info you shared is super helpful! Thank you! If you remember where you got the tiny clear icons from, would you please let me know? Thank you, and here’s to 2021!

  22. I really like the weight loss game board. I struggle with several illnesses that make weight loss a bit more complicated as habits are harder to form and while my current goal isn’t my end goal I never considered having a reward every so often.

  23. If you are interested, there is a Youtuber named Amanda Rache Lee, she has a system of mapping out the bullet journal dots so she has a key of how to lay out her spreads. Thought this might help you in the future if you have not heard of her.

  24. My dad lost 100lbs. I visited Agoge Diet and followed their steps. I only selected food he likes and they provided me with FULL PACKET in seconds. I got 30 days DIET MEAL PLAN, TRAINING PLAN, FITNESS TIPS, and HEALTHY RECIPES as well.

  25. I tried every single diet on the internet and even if I managed to lose few pounds of fat, they would get back as soon as I’m done with diet. I realised that meal plan from Agoge Diet is the only diet I could follow forever. It’s really sustainable and easy to follow.

  26. As a fellow PCOS sufferer I have to say ‘I feel you’. Over the years I’ve tried several different ways of eating to try to combat the symptoms. It’s amazing how food affects PCOS so massively! I’ve never tried Brightline Eating so I can’t comment on it. For me, the most effective I’ve found is Keto. I feel a lot better on it and have more energy. What I don’t do… is lose weight. It holds my weight steady though, so at least I’m not gaining, but I do wish I could lose weight. My problem now is that I have now got severe arthritis in my knees which makes even walking around the house painful, so any exercise is really difficult for me. I’d love to go back to swimming but our pools here in the UK are completely closed at the moment because of COVID.

I wish you all the best of luck in your health goals for 2021!

  27. when I was 18 I finally decided to lose weight and take care of myself, I changed how I ate and worked out. I lost 60lbs in about 8 months, and I loved the way I felt physically and mentally. But then I met my (ex)boyfriend and he pressured me back into bad eating habits. I ended up gaining all 60lbs back plus 40lbs on top of that. that was almost 6 years ago, I’m finally getting up the drive to make that change again to get healthy and like the way I feel. So this video helps out a lot. thank you so much!

  28. Because you mentioned Bright Line Eating last year I tried it over the summer and finally hit my target weight!!! I gained 6lb over the holidays but am restarting slowly. Even eating 75% of my meals with a BLE focus has helped me. Thanks again for the tip!

  29. I recently got diagnosed with pcod/pcos (im 17) and thought of makin a food journal. Grateful for this video
Now im gonna make a fitness journal💗💗💗

  30. I love this so much. You made it so personal to your experience- I feel so inspired to do something like this for my own goals. I binged a few of your videos today and appreciate all the work it takes to share these videos with us on top of everything else you do. Thank you!!

  31. I would pretty much quit life if i quit sugar…sugar is my only vice hahaah
I dont drink alcohol, or coffee..i dont eat fat and avoid meats….sugar is my only friend…xD
so when i need to lose weight i just count calories and eat a lot of veggies…and get myself a cookie or candy bar reward at the end of the day when I get to have extra calories on my bank =x
