  1. Hello Coach Kait! I am a sophomore and interested in studying nutritional science. What are the best book recommendations for becoming a dietician? Thank you.

  2. Great video! Not only do you give us loads of reference material but you also show us your health coach bona fides all while promoting a very relevant sponsor. Wrapped up in a nice 10 minute package. Brilliant… I’m currently reading the The Big Fat Surprise, amazing, must read for anyone duped by the SAD diet. BTW I will be headed to Blinkist, sounds perfect for the “not so fast” reader like me.

  3. I think it’s great that you educate yourself! It gives you more of a platform for your YouTube channel, thus properly educating your viewers. Plus .. you have a great personality & smile. 😉 Thanks for all the info. 👍🏻

  4. 1. The big fat suprise
    2. The case against sugar
    3. Low carbohydrate
    4. Genius foods
    5. The complete guide to fasting
    6. The obesity code
    7. Vitamin d
    8. Nutrition and physical degeneration
    9. Deep nutrition
    10. Unconventional medicine

  5. Please, Suggest me the best book on Nutrition. So that after reading that book I will be able to start a YouTube channel on Nutrition.

  6. The Primal Blueprint was the first book on my journey. Then Gary Taubes Why We Get Fat. And Dr Jason Fung The Obesity Code 😀

  7. Good solid list Kait, I really need to do some reading 🤓
Coming from the BB world, my first intro to low carb was the Anabolic diet by dr. Mauro Di Pasquale, basically a cyclical keto diet and ‘Unleashing the Wild Physique: Ultimate Bodybuilding for men and women’ where you discover the Steak and eggs diet by Vince Gironda. 💪

One book that is missing from this list is ‘The Fat of the Land’ by Vilhjalmur Stefansson, an arctic explorer’s story living among the people of Alaska. I recommend it, very interesting. 😉

  8. hey great list, red them all
    i would add
Lies My Doctor Told Me: Medical Myths That Can Harm Your Health
    again your vids are great

  9. Excellent choices, I have them all except for brain food. I would like to add primal body primal mind by Nora Gedgaudas to the list. Thanks Kate.

  10. You have a beautiful smile and you gave a lot of value in this video. Made my day better.
You have a new subscriber and a like as well on this video.

Can’t wait to see the others 🙂

  11. Audio books are the go for me, I can go for a walk in the park or reserve down the road and listen, just happening to be listening to Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes atm.

  12. Tnx for the content miss Kait! I really like how well spoken you are and you make it easy to understand 👍 hope you are doing well and keep up the good work 😁

  13. The obesity code, the book that changed my world. Having type two diabetes I do not have it anymore from following what this book has to offer.
You should read it dear one that just talk about it

  14. Those books are great. Would also recommend Deep Nutrition by Dr. Cate Shanahan, The Big Fat Surprise by Nina Teicholtz, and Mitochondria and the Future of Medicine by Lee Know, ND. The last one is not technically a nutrition book but does address how burning fat rather than sugar is better for your mitochondria, preventing or reversing many diseases.

  15. One thing I realize I like that you don’t do is beat up on medical doctors. Doctors in the USA , are not meant to be our nutritional advisors. A lot a Americans do not understand this point. Also , most ppl think big industry should not sell bad foods. Don’t buy them if you think this. Weird concept , eh!
